RBC to replace ticket machines at Keyworth, West Bridgford and Country Park car parks
Last updated: 12/10/2026
Rushcliffe Borough Council (RBC) is bringing car parking machines up to date in Keyworth, West Bridgford and Rushcliffe Country Park.
From Monday October 12 the machines will be replaced following on from investment in new machines in Bingham last year.
Keyworth’s Bunny Lane car park, West Bridgford’s Bridgford Road, Gordon Road and Nursery/Albert Road car parks and Rushcliffe Country Park car park facilities will be updated.
During the works, motorists may not be able to purchase a ticket from a machine at certain times and are encouraged instead to use the RingGo app or visit www.myringgo.co.uk
If motorists can’t use this option and a machine is not available, enforcement action will not be taken. Any car parking charges will remain the same.
RingGo is the easiest, quickest and cashless way to pay for parking. It ensures there is no need for motorists to queue at a car park during the colder autumn and winter months, hunt for change and place a printed ticket in their vehicle.
When arriving at a car park, motorists can download the RingGo app, call, text or pay online.
Where a free period is offered within pay and display car parks, motorists can obtain a free voucher from the parking machine to take advantage of this free period.
Alerts to motorists’ phones ensure they’re always aware a parking period is due to finish and it takes a few easy steps to extend their parking time.
The easy-to-use facility is used by over 50% of car park users in West Bridgford and has been successfully rolled out as the only payment method at Bingham Arena car park as hundreds of motorists use the format every month.
Rushcliffe Borough Council’s Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Environment and Safety Cllr Rob Inglis said: “We’re pleased to offer RingGo at all of our chargeable car parks in the Borough and it’s the far more convenient way to pay for parking.
“We know some still prefer to use a ticket machine hence our ongoing investment to meet everyone’s needs.
“But if you haven’t used RingGo yet why not try it? It’s a cashless system where you can use a credit or debit card and pay by phone or online in a matter of moments.
“It provides helpful features such as reminders about your expiry and has the option to easily extend your parking without having to return to your car, as an additional option, if you need more time in our town and village centres.”
