Last updated: 8/9/2026
Rushcliffe Borough Council’s Planning Committee will meet on September 16 at 6pm to consider applications from Nottingham Forest on its plans for amendments to The City Ground.
The public meeting will be streamed live on the Council’s YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/rushcliffebc with the applications the only items of business to be discussed and expected to last at least two hours.
The Council’s planning application reports recommend approval of the applications and are available on the Council’s website at www.rushcliffe.gov.uk
The Planning Committee is formed of 11 Borough Councillors who make decisions on relevant applications including those larger in scale, such as the club’s submission.
As with all planning applications that require consideration by the committee, planning officers present a report containing their recommendation.
Guidelines outlining who can speak at the meeting will also be announced soon.
These include objector(s), relevant Rushcliffe Borough Council ward councillors and club representative(s) as the applicant.
Debate among the committee members will then take place and a vote taken on the application’s outcome.
All media enquiries on the meeting should be directed to media@rushcliffe.gov.uk and for media enquiries to the club as the applicant contact media-enquiries@nottinghamforest.co.uk
