Have a go at free Family Football Trail at Bridgford Park this August!

Families and friends are invited to take on Summer of Football: Champion’s Quest, a new outdoor augmented reality (AR) trail at in West Bridgford, running throughout August.
To celebrate the start of the new football season, the trail turns Bridgford Park into a short, interactive adventure with seven stops to discover and enjoy.
The free activity is hosted by Rushcliffe Borough Council (RBC) in partnership with High Street Safari.
At each stop, players will find special window artwork or trail signage containing a clue about the AR experience waiting for them. By scanning the QR code with a modern smartphone, families can unlock a different digital surprise at every location, from mini games to selfie lenses.
The whole trail is designed to take less than half an hour to walk around, making it an easy, active and engaging family activity for the summer holidays.
Although the trail has a football theme, it is designed for everyone to enjoy, not just football fans. Older children and grown-ups can get stuck into the AR games and digital challenges, while younger explorers can hunt for the hidden symbols tucked inside the artwork at each stop.
Players can pick up a trail sheet from Little Green café by the park at NG2 6AT or download and print one at home from the High Street Safari website. Each artwork includes a small hidden symbol, which players can match to the decoder key on their trail sheet to reveal a letter. Once all seven letters have been decoded, they will spell out a password that unlocks a digital prize: a downloadable activity pack.
Families who complete the trail can also collect a free prize sticker from Little Green café, while stocks last.
No app download is required to play. Families simply visit the High Street Safari website and tap on the location Bridgford Park, West Bridgford to begin, or head to any of the seven stops around the park and scan the QR code to start. The experience works on any modern smartphone with an internet connection.
