One week to go until award-winning Proms in the Park with Spice Girls Experience!

The award-winning Proms in the Park returns to Bridgford Park in West Bridgford on Saturday June 27 from 12.30pm to 9pm with Spice Girls Experience headlining the annual event to celebrate Armed Forces Day.
Event goers can enjoy a full day of live music and entertainment. The headline act will perform the biggest hits of the iconic girl group, from chart-topper Spice Up Your Life to fan favourite Who Do You Think You Are?, recreating the era of Girl Power with impressive authenticity.

Full stage programme:
· Nottingham Concert Band - 12.30pm to 2pm – community wind band who have been performing at Proms for over 10 years bringing a diverse range of music to life, from classical pieces to film scores and contemporary tunes
· Free Roam Notts - 2.30pm to 3pm – A young band with big aspirations covering indie and rock fan favourites that all ages will enjoy, as well as making their own exciting, new music.
· Mansfield District Corp of Drums – 3.30pm to 4pm – Nottinghamshire’s premier military marching band.
· Lady Bay Soul Collective - 4.30pm to 5.30pm – A 25-piece soul orchestra Bringing you the rarest grooves, most soulful vocals, lushest strings and funkiest horns
· Northants Sing Out – 6.15pm to 7.15pm – Britain’s Got Talent finalists 2024 cross genre choir famed for their high-energy, feel-good mashups of classic hymns and dance tracks
· Spice Girls Experience – 8pm to 9pm – Take a step back to the 90s as they play the familiar songs that you know and love

The free annual event is delivered by Rushcliffe Borough Council (RBC) with no tickets or booking required.
RBC is pleased to welcome Pizza Hut West Bridgford as a Gold Sponsor, as they extend their sponsorship of the Celebrating Rushcliffe Awards and continue their valued support for the local community.
Proms in the Park provides an opportunity to support local Armed Forces, with representatives from the Royal British Legion and other Rushcliffe-based military groups in attendance.
Alongside our Armed Forces Community Covenant, the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal will be showcased as this year’s official charity, with the event part‑funded by the Ministry of Defence.
Local sports clubs and partner organisations will also be present, with a range of refreshments available, including hot and cold drinks, a licensed bar, ice cream, pizza and a BBQ.

Car parks are expected to be busy coinciding with a Men’s Test Series cricket match at Trent Bridge. Visitors are therefore encouraged to use public transport to make the most of the excellent travel links in West Bridgford.
There are frequent bus services such as the Trent Barton Mainline and Nottingham City Transport’s Green Line 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 12, all offering easy access to the area.
