Come and Lark in the Park on Wednesday August 2

Rushcliffe Borough Council’s ever popular Lark in the Park, sponsored by Hollies Day Nurseries returns on Wednesday August 2 and is set to feature over 50 fantastic stalls and attractions. 

This year’s free event brings an array of attractions at Bridgford Park in West Bridgford from 10am to 4pm with a Pop-up donkey petting farm, inflatable fun zone, soft play, storytelling and sports sessions from the National Ice Arena and West Bridgford Tennis Club.

There will also be an entertainment programme with free singing and dancing shows for children featuring Super Sparkle, Jo Jingles, Dynamique Dance and Joker Entertainment.

Free sporting activities include soft play and football darts and children can meet popular characters including Super Mario.

Food and drink stalls will be available and event goers can visit a variety of charity and community stands.

Rushcliffe Borough Council’s Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Transformation, Leisure and Wellbeing Cllr Jonathan Wheeler: “After another successful year in 2022, I’m delighted that Lark in the Park is returning to West Bridgford next month!

“This is always an action-packed event and gives friends and families the opportunity to spend quality time together, enjoying a range of activities and entertainment and above all a fun-filled day!

“There will be a brilliant atmosphere and we are anticipating a great turn out.”

Bridge Field Car Park on Bridgford Road is used as a temporary car park during our Lark in the Park event.

With the RingGo system event visitors no longer need to carry small change or queue to pay on arrival at Bridge Field. Users can also conveniently extend the duration of their parking via their mobile phone without needing to return to their vehicle.

Payments can be made via the RingGo app, online at www.myRingGo.co.uk or by phone 0115 8714000. RingGo parking on Bridge Field will be valid on Rushcliffe Borough Council event days only and is not available for football or cricket parking.

Cash payments will continue to be taken at existing town centre Pay and Display locations including Bridgford Road, Gordon Road and Nursey Car Park. Additional notification charges may apply.
