Refurbishment works complete at East Leake Leisure Centre

East Leake Leisure Centre has welcomed recent improvements to the site with a gym refresh and facility enhancements for residents, visitors and gym-goers to enjoy!
The popular centre underwent a series of refurbishment works including new flooring, fresh decorations and modern fitness equipment.
The reception area has also been transformed with a contemporary new desk, redecoration, new carpets and updated signage, creating a welcoming first impression for customers.
The toilets have also been upgraded, alongside the sports hall changing rooms, which are shared with East Leake Academy.
These upgrades are all part of an ongoing commitment by Mitie, who operate the leisure centre on behalf of Rushcliffe Borough Council (RBC), to provide quality services and a pleasant experience for all visitors.
Rushcliffe Borough Council’s Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Wellbeing, ICT and Member Development Cllr Jonathan Wheeler said: “With five popular leisure centres across Rushcliffe, it’s fantastic to see investment taking place all our sites.
“East Leake Leisure Centre is a valuable resource for the local community, and these latest improvements keep the leisure centre modern and welcoming.
“The leisure centre is open seven days a week and has weekly pool, gym and aerobic timetable of classes. It promotes fitness and wellbeing, teaches children to swim, and provides a friendly social space for residents of all ages.
