Friends and families are invited to a free Lunar New Year Celebratory event on Saturday February 10 from 1pm until 6pm in West Bridgford for a fun day out with games, activities and entertainment for all.

The celebratory event is supported by Shared Prosperity Funding from the UK Government and will take place at Sir Julien Cahn Pavilion, West Park on Loughborough Road, NG2 7JE.

Visitors can take part in fun workshops based on Lunar New Year traditions including ink painting, calligraphy writing, red banner making, flower paper crafting, board game Mahjong and more!

For those wanting to try a martial art there will be 30-minute gentle Tai Chi sessions taking place throughout the day.

There will also be exciting entertainment during the event including stilt walkers, bubble artists, a K-pop DJ and finale LED dancers.

Asian inspired food and drink stalls in an outdoor area will also be available throughout the day.

Event goers will be asked to sign-in on entrance for all activities as there will be limited capacity within the venue.
