I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information. 

1. How many times has the council ordered the removal of a cooling air conditioning unit from a residential property since 1 January 2025? If known, please provide a brief reason for the removal order.
2. How many planning permission applications have been received for the installation of a cooling air conditioning unit at a residential property since 1 January 2025 and how many of these were approved.

As such the information you have requested is already published by the council in a searchable format. Where information is already readily available, its release via FOI requests is exempt. The following provides details of how to find the information you have requested:

2. Planning applications are viewable on our online register. You can use the advanced search feature and enter a key word to find the applications that you require.
