Please could you provide the following:

  1. Does the council currently have a formal contract in place for fire extinguisher provision across:
    1. its housing stock (temporary, emergency, social housing); and
    2. its corporate estate (e.g. offices, schools, libraries, leisure centres)?
  2. Does the council currently have a formal contract in place for fire extinguisher servicing across:
    • its housing stock (temporary, emergency, social housing); and
    • its corporate estate (e.g. offices, schools, libraries, leisure centres)?
  3. If a contract is in place:
    • What is the name of the supplier or suppliers appointed to deliver each service/product?
    • What is the scope of the contract? (e.g. number of units, types of product, class of product) What is the contract duration, including start and end dates and any extension options?
    • What is the pricing structure — including the current rate per door inspection?
    • Was this contract awarded via a framework or dynamic purchasing system? If so, which one?
  4. If no contract is in place:
    • Are there any plans to tender for provision or servicing within the next 12 Months, 24 months, 36 months?

    1. its housing stock (temporary, emergency, social housing); and - Yes, our Temporary Accommodation
    2. its corporate estate (e.g. offices, schools, libraries, leisure centres)? Yes - our operational sites
  2. Does the council currently have a formal contract in place for fire extinguisher servicing across:
    • its housing stock (temporary, emergency, social housing); and - Yes, our Temporary Accommodation
    • its corporate estate (e.g. offices, schools, libraries, leisure centres)? Yes - our operational sites
  3. If a contract is in place:
    • What is the name of the supplier or suppliers appointed to deliver each service/product? FSA Systems Ltd
    • What is the scope of the contract? (e.g. number of units, types of product, class of product) To service all firefighting equipment within those sites. Number of units and type/class of products varies depending on the operation of each site.
    • What is the contract duration, including start and end dates and any extension options? Contract duration for Churches Fire and Security started 01.12.2024 and finishes 30.11.2026 - no option to extend. Contract duration with FSA is based on an annual rolling contract.
    • What is the pricing structure — including the current rate per door inspection? Prices are tendered / quoted for and fixed for the duration of the contract.
    • Was this contract awarded via a framework or dynamic purchasing system? If so, which one? Churches Fire and Security Contract was tendered and awarded. FSA contract was awarded via quotation.
  4. If no contract is in place:
    • Are there any plans to tender for provision or servicing within the next 12 Months, 24 months, 36 months? Not applcable
