  3. Do you have a redaction policy in place?
    • The Council do not have a policy specifically or dedicated to redaction. The Council do have a number of policies that ensure all Staff follow guidance in line with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. This will include the redaction of sensitive information before publishing publicly.

    • Adobe Reader Standard, and inbuilt tools within certain systems that the council use.

  7. What tools do you use to undertake file de-duplication?
    • Our storage solution provides de-duplication technologies to optimise disk capacity.

    • The Council do not have an information governance team. There are a number of staff from different departments who redact documents.
