Request
I am requesting information concerning international travel (by plane, ferry or Eurostar etc) undertaken by individuals on behalf of the council during the course of employment.
From 1 January 2023 to present (the date at which the request is processed) details on international travel undertaken by the council. This data should include:
- the role of the person undertaking international travel (this can be omitted if needed for example if it would lead to the request refused because it could identify a living person)
- directorate/department to which the employee is travelling belongs to
- Destination
- Cost
- Brief purpose of travel if recorded e.g. meeting manufactures or working with international partners
In addition, please supply a copy of travel policy.
Response
From 1 January 2023 to present there has been one need for international travel undertaken by the council - see details below:
A: Manager and Senior Attendant of Rushcliffe Oaks
B: Growth and Development
C: Holland
D: Zero
E: Meet with manufacturers of the cremator for a tour of the factory and meet the engineers and other partners in the industry.
