Playing Pitch Strategy
The Playing Pitch Strategy provides a clear, strategic framework for the maintenance and improvement of existing outdoor sports pitches and ancillary facilities in Rushcliffe between 2017 and 2028.
Review documents are produced every 2-3 years to ensure the delivery of the strategy’s recommendations and actions have taken place, and to identify any new developments that may change key priorities. The latest review document was produced in 2022.
The strategy aligns with National Governing Bodies of Sport (NGB’s) priority sites for investment that provides community access and is used to support funding applications, as well as having an impact on planning considerations.
