Can you share with me information about what happens with the bins/recycling that is collected?

As the designated waste collection authority Rushcliffe carry out collections only and disposal is arranged through Nottinghamshire County Council as the designated waste disposal authority, Dry recycling is taken to a local transfer station where it is then transferred to a materials recycling facility, sorted and sold on to end markets. garden waste is sent to a local composting site also run by the County Council's disposal contractor, Veolia
