I wondered if you could give me the details on the length of time you hold your records - calls, notes, recordings for correspondence about changes to claims i.e. council tax, housing benefit and any other claims you deal with?

Response

All benefit claim records are kept until a claim is cancelled and then they are kept for a further 7 years after the cancellation date.
