Please provide the following information for each of the financial years listed below:

• 2022/23
• 2023/24
• 2024/25
• 2025/26
• 2026/27 to date

For each year, please provide:

1. The total amount spent on the clearance, removal, transportation and disposal of fly-tipped waste.
2. The number of fly-tipping incidents recorded and cleared.
3. Where available, the average cost of clearing each incident.
4. Where available, the amount paid to external contractors for fly-tipping clearance.

I am specifically interested in the direct costs associated with clearing up fly-tipped waste. Please exclude expenditure relating to enforcement, investigations, education or preventative measures unless these costs cannot be separated from the clearance expenditure.

For 2026/27, please provide figures covering 1 April 2026 up to the date this request is processed.
If the requested information is held in a different format or under different accounting codes, please provide the closest available figures rather than refusing the request.
