I am writing to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Please provide details of all travel and mileage expense claims submitted by Nottinghamshire County Councillors who are members of the Conservative Group on Nottinghamshire County Council who also serve as councillors on this authority.
Please provide information covering the period from the date of their election to Nottinghamshire County Council in May 2025 up to the date this request is processed.

• For each travel or mileage claim, please provide:
  • Name of the councillor.
  • Nottinghamshire County Council division represented.
  • Date of travel.
  • Purpose of the journey (where recorded).
  • Journey start location (or town/parish if the precise address is withheld).
  • Journey destination.
  • Return destination (if recorded separately).
  • Number of miles claimed.
  • Mileage rate claimed (where recorded).
  • Amount claimed.
  • Date the claim was submitted.
  • Date the claim was approved.
  • Whether the claim was paid and, if so, the amount paid.

If any part of the requested information is withheld under an exemption, please provide the remaining information and specify which exemption(s) have been applied.

Response

Please find  the listing of mileage claimed and paid to Rushcliffe Councillors whom as also elected County councillors for Nottinghamshire. Rushcliffe class the councillors home address as their usual place of work. Rushcliffe require the details of why the mileage was undertaken to be included only and Officers when approving the claims will ensure the mileage claimed is reasonable based on the information given and the known home address of the councillor.
