Please can you respond to the following questions under the Freedom of Information Act?

  1. Do you outsource On Street Parking Services? If yes please list all the services.
  2. Do you outsource Off Street Parking Services? If yes please list all the services.
  3. Do you outsource back office Penalty Charge Notice Processing?
  4. Do you outsource back office Penalty Charge Notice representations and appeal processing?
  5. If yes to any of the above questions please can you advise:
    • a. Who are your current out sourced provider(s) and for which services?

    • Length of the outsourced enforcement contracts?

    • Contract renewal dates?

  6. Please provide the name and email address of the person or persons responsible for all enforcement contracts?

Please can you respond to the following questions under the Freedom of Information Act?

  1. Do you outsource On Street Parking Services? If yes please list all the services.
    • On street parking is the responsibility of Nottinghamshire County Council, not Rushcliffe Borough Council.
  2. Do you outsource Off Street Parking Services? If yes please list all the services.
    • Rushcliffe Borough Council uses the Civil Enforcement Officers and cash collection service provided through the Nottinghamshire County Council agreement with NSL.
    • Rushcliffe Borough Council uses Nottinghamshire County Council’s Central Processing Unit for management of its penalty charge notices.
    • Rushcliffe Borough Council has a shared services car parking agreement with Broxtowe Borough Council who manage the daily operations of Rushcliffe’s off-street car parks.
    • The use of these services forms part of the 7-district car parking partnership across different borough, district and county councils for Nottinghamshire.  
  3. Do you outsource back office Penalty Charge Notice Processing?
    • Rushcliffe Borough Council uses Nottinghamshire County Council’s Central Processing Unit.
  4. Do you outsource back office Penalty Charge Notice representations and appeal processing?
    • Rushcliffe Borough Council has a shared car parking service agreement with Broxtowe Borough Council who manage Rushcliffe’s representations and appeals.
  5. If yes to any of the above questions please can you advise:
    • a. Who are your current out sourced provider(s) and for which services?

    • Broxtowe Borough Council: management of all daily operations including CEOs, cash collection, penalty notices, appeals and representations.
    • Nottinghamshire County Council Central Processing Unit.
    • Nottinghamshire County Council and NSL contract for provision of CEOs and cash collection.
    • Length of the outsourced enforcement contracts?

    • Contract renewal dates?

    • Broxtowe Borough Council: management of all daily operations including CEOs, cash collection, penalty notices, appeals and representations – shared service agreement started in 2014 and is reviewed every 4 years, subject to service and best value review.
    • Nottinghamshire County Council Central Processing Unit – Rushcliffe Borough Council pays for the service under the district car parking partnership agreement.
    • Nottinghamshire County Council and NSL contract for provision of CEOs and cash collection. Contract expires 21 June 2022.
