Lunar New Year

Celebratory Lunar New Year event

Fun workshops and activities inspired by Lunar New Year traditions will include red banner writing and drawing, paper crafts including paper horses and paper God of Wealth, sweet dumpling making, free themed face painting, Mahjong and other games. There will also be a Wishing Tree where event goers can hang a wish, symbolising good fortune.

There will also be a variety of free exhibitions, including a cross-cultural art project by Nottingham Trent University students on exploring identity, place, and what it means to live well.

Visitors can explore a range of stalls offering handcrafted crochet, cherry pastel drawing, resin handicrafts, jewellery, books, stationary and more.

This event is supported by UK Shared Prosperity Funding (UKSPF), allocated through the East Midlands Combined County Authority and delivered in partnership with Hong Kong Notts.
