Film and Food Festival
Discover the fantastic free West Bridgford Film and Food Festival!
West Bridgford hosted a brand new, free Film and Food Festival on Saturday 12 July bringing together cinema, street food, and creative workshops in a family-friendly day out organised by Rushcliffe Borough Council (RBC).
Residents and visitors alike had the chance to experience an array of flavour-filled stalls and some favourite flicks courtesy of funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
Hosted in conjunction with Film Hub Midlands and Broadway Cinema, the event featured over a dozen street food vendors providing a range of culinary treats with hot drinks and bar.
RBC’s Deputy Leader Cllr Abby Brennan said: “Our free Film and Food Festival event is the perfect way to enjoy a fun day out.
“Building on the success of previous Sunday Cinema and Taste of Rushcliffe events, it will see three film favourites on the big screen matched with a range of great street food vendors and an array of activities for children and adults.
“Come along, bring a chair or a blanket and enjoy a free trip to the movies and much more!”
West Bridgford Film and Food Festival was been made possible with support from Film Hub Midlands through funds from the National Lottery. Film Hub Midlands support people to watch, show, and make films in the Midlands.
