Dogs at Rushcliffe Country Park

Well behaved dogs are welcome to visit the park, however all dogs must be kept under control at all times and poo picked up straight away.

Free emergency poop scoop bags are available at the Ranger’s Office and you also buy them for £1. There are plenty of dog/litter bins around the park for you dispose of bagged dog waste.

Certain areas of the park are dogs on leads zones

• The car park
• Around the lakeside
• The play areas

No dogs are allowed in red zone areas - including the play area, enclosed woods and the season pond. More detail can be found on the map below.

Dog Agility Area

While you and your four-legged friend are in the park, don’t forget to visit our dog agility area. ‌

The trail is in a fenced and gated area and features obstacles and activities to entertain your dog. Please read and follow all instructions on the trail for everyone’s safety and enjoyment.

The trail is open and free to use at any time.
