Shortlisted nominees announced for the Celebrating Rushcliffe Awards with Parkwood Leisure!
Rushcliffe Borough Council (RBC) is delighted to announce the shortlisted nominees for this year’s Celebrating Rushcliffe Awards with Parkwood Leisure.
The awards shine a spotlight on the Borough’s outstanding volunteers, businesses and environmental champions, sports clubs, organisations, and the very best of its health and wellbeing, food and drink, and local enterprise sectors.
Over 30 groups and individuals have been shortlisted following an incredible response, with hundreds of nominations celebrating the Borough’s local heroes.
RBC’s Deputy Leader Cllr Abby Brennan said: “Congratulations to all our shortlisted nominees! We can’t wait to meet these incredible local heroes at our awards event in December.
“It will be a fantastic evening hearing their inspiring stories and celebrating their achievements.
“Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate their community heroes. We received so many wonderful nominations in all award categories.
“Our judges had an incredibly tough job selecting this year’s shortlist, with such a high standard of nominations that reflect the remarkable community spirit right across the Borough.”
Parkwood Leisure Managing Director Glen Hall added: “The evening is a great celebration of people across the Borough who make a real difference in their local communities.

The winners of each category including the RBC Lord-Lieutenant Award, will be announced at an awards ceremony at Rushcliffe Arena in West Bridgford on Wednesday December 10.
West Bridgford Wire Editor Pat Gamble congratulated all those shortlisted.
