Under the Freedom of Information Act please provide the following information.

1. Approximately how many council-owned, council-operated or otherwise supported sites are currently covered by your cleaning service?
2. Which department, directorate or team is responsible for the management of these cleaning services?
3. What is the job title or role of the person with overall responsibility for cleaning operations across these sites?
4. Please provide a general contact email address for the relevant department or team, where this information is held.
5. Are cleaning services predominantly delivered by:
   • an in-house council team,
   • an external contractor,
   • individual sites,
   • or a combination of these approaches?
6. If cleaning services are outsourced in whole or in part, please confirm the name of the current service provider or providers

By cleaning services, I am referring to the routine/internal cleaning and housekeeping of non-residential Council-owned, Council-operated or Council-managed buildings and facilities. This would include, where applicable:

• • Office and administrative building cleaning.
  • Cleaning of Council depots and operational buildings.
  • Cleaning of libraries, leisure centres and community facilities.
  • Cleaning of public conveniences.
  • Cleaning of other non-residential Council buildings and facilities.
  • Associated routine housekeeping duties carried out as part of the cleaning service.

I am not referring to window cleaning, PV panel cleaning, road/street sweeping, graffiti removal, waste collection or other specialist/external cleaning activities.

The purpose of the request is to understand how routine building/facilities cleaning is managed across the Council, including the number of sites covered, whether the service is delivered in-house or outsourced, the responsible department/team, the relevant management role and, where applicable, the external cleaning provider.

3. What is the job title or role of the person with overall responsibility for cleaning operations across these sites? Property Services Manager.
4. Please provide a general contact email address for the relevant department or team, where this information is held propertyservices@rushcliffe.gov.uk.
5. Are cleaning services predominantly delivered by: an in-house council team, an external contractor, individual sites, or a combination of these approaches? The majority are cleaned by an external contractor, but one site is still cleaned by internal staff.
6. If cleaning services are outsourced in whole or in part, please confirm the name of the current service provider or providers. External contractor - Spotless Midlands Ltd
