The total number of complaints received about "deprivation of assets" decisions, where the council has decided someone deliberately reduced their assets in order to avoid paying care fees.

In our area Adult Social care and any fees assessments for it, comes under the jurisdiction of Nottinghamshire County Council. I can’t see from your email that you have contacted them already, so I have included a link for your convenience.
