Under the FOI Act I would like to request the amount of staff employed by the council that are currently on long term sick leave as of 12 February 2024. 

I would also like to request the amount of staff that were on long term sick leave on the same day in 2023 and in 2019. 

Response

The number of staff employed by the council on long term sick leave (for four or more weeks) on the following dates:

• 12 February 2024 -  4
• 12 February 2023 -  5
• 12 February 2019 -  8
