I am concerned about the increasing numbers of Wood Burning Stoves in houses in Rushcliffe.

Given that local authorities are supposed to receive notification prior to and after the installation of Wood Burning Stoves in houses in Rushcliffe, under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to know how many Wood Burning Stoves are registered in the Borough of Rushcliffe to date?

The legislation regarding wood burning stoves requiring an application or registering with HETAS as part of a competent person scheme became part of the building regulations 2005. The data we receive from HETAS does not differentiate between wood burning stoves and other solid fuel appliances, therefore we would not be able to answer your request as it is not possible to separate the data into types of appliance.
