1. How much you are currently charging, or plan to charge, developers for offsite biodiversity units so that they can meet their biodiversity net gain requirements

We are not currently providing offsite biodiversity units and currently have no offsite biodiversity units to provide, the question of charges is therefore moot.

2. What % of biodiversity net gain you are requiring, or expect to require, from developers

Currently Rushcliffe Borough Council has not set a % of Biodiversity Net Gain requirement, only a requirement for a positive demonstrated gain. We advise 10% where possible. From the introduction of statutory net gain (expected in November 2023), 10% will be the minimum require Net Gain, any locally agreed increase will be developed as part of the Local Plan process.
