   This was for 1 bid and we asked a consultant to review available information to see if a bid could be possible for a new health centre/community hub in East Leake.

3. How much money were those individual bids awarded under Round 1 of the Government's Levelling Up Fund? 

   No bid was submitted as the project is not at an advanced enough stage at that point to submit an application.

4. How much did the council spend on bids for Round 2 of the Government's Levelling Up Fund? £16,610

   This was for 1 application for cyclist and pedestrian improvements to the area south of the River Trent in West Bridgford, Nottingham, to enable the new pedestrian/cycle bridge crossing to fully realise its benefits by connecting communities and providing safe, direct, free flowing and logical pedestrian and cycling infrastructure, in line with LTN 1/20.

   The project would include:

   • Upgrading of circa 800m of existing river-side footpath to the south of the River Trent, including widening, and providing lighting
   • Improvements to the Lady Bay junction
   • Improvements to 4 crossing points

   The funding request was £3.1m
