Sir Julien Cahn Pavilion

This attractive and spacious former pavilion was built in 1926 by local philanthropist Sir Julien Cahn. With space to host up to 190 people the Sir Julien Cahn Pavilion makes a great choice for regular bookings of community activities and meetings as well as private social gatherings. Due to its close proximity to West Bridgford Registry Office, St Giles Church and West Bridgford Methodist Church the Pavilion also makes an ideal wedding reception venue. 

The Pavilion sits in the grounds of West Park which offers two play areas, one for younger and one for older children plus tennis courts, cricket pitch and cricket practice nets. 

Features

  • Main hall measuring 15m by 12m plus separate meeting room for smaller gatherings up to 25 people
  • Kitchen for preparing food and hot drinks (note that there are no facilities for cooking and that tea towels, washing up and cleaning materials are not provided)
  • Chairs, tables and cups and saucers are available for use, however please note that cutlery is not provided.
  • Free on site parking for 70 cars, including disabled parking. Car parking is only available for venue and park users
  • Please note that bouncy castles are not permitted either indoors or outdoors and that the grass area is not included in the hire of the Pavilion.
  • Rushcliffe Borough Council does not accept bookings for teenage parties (aged 13 to 19 inclusive)

Licensing

Hirers are not permitted to bring or consume their own alcohol at Sir Julien Cahn Pavilion. Private bar providers are permitted to operate in the Pavilion but require licensing via a Rushcliffe Borough Council Temporary Events Notice. The charge is £21 per booking.
