Salary: £37,743 - £40,113 per annum

We are seeking to recruit a forward-thinking ICT Services Digital Improvement Officer to help shape and implement the Council’s service based ICT strategy by providing project coordination, business analysis and improvement through the development of automation and artificial intelligence.  You will assist with the day to day management and delivery of the ICT portfolio, providing professional advice and guidance for change, working on new projects, software’s and solutions.

You will be challenged in this role to deliver high quality digital and infrastructure projects with the opportunity to shape the future direction of the Council.  It is essential that you are able to develop and maintain strong links between suppliers, internal customers, and other members of the ICT team, working to deliver digital transformation, efficiency gains and ensuring you met the needs of stakeholders through effective solutions. We want you to be analytical and proactive in identifying digital service improvements across the business and in issue management and resolution. Your ability to build positive relationships will be key, as will a ‘can-do’ attitude with the ability to self-learn in the development of new technical skills.  It is essential that you are able to manage your own time and workload, demonstrating your experience of co-ordinating and delivering on multiple projects and communicating technical concepts in appropriate language for the training guides and procedure notes you will be expected to deliver.
