Are you ready for a challenge? There are some big issues facing Rushcliffe over the next few years, not least completing the review of the Borough’s Local Plan and supporting the delivery of major growth areas including on the edge of the Nottingham urban area.
We’re looking for an organised and self-motivated person with a Town Planning or related degree to join our Planning Policy team to help take forward work on our Local Plan. Recent graduates or those with limited experience are also encouraged to apply, as this role offers the opportunity to advance your career as you gain experience, to develop your skills and to be supported through the APC route towards achieving membership of the RTPI.
This is career grade post and salary on appointment will be dependent on your experience and skills. We will be looking to appoint a candidate who can show that they have the ability to make a significant contribution to the work of the team.
The successful candidate will be based in our modern offices at Rushcliffe Arena in West Bridgford. Rushcliffe Borough Council support flexible working in line with our business needs with the option of working from home on a hybrid basis.
