Kerbside Glass Co-ordinator

Salary: £32,940 – 34,935per annum

37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Fixed Term Contract 1st October 2025 to 9th January 2026

As part of the new Simpler Recycling legislation, Rushcliffe Borough Council will shortly be starting the roll out of over 50,000 wheeled bins as part of our new kerbside glass collection service.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to oversee and manage the roll out of the wheeled bin service and the first 6 weeks of the new collection service. Applicants should have previous experience in a similar area of work, have excellent planning and organisational skills and be experienced in supervising teams. Experience of working within the waste industry would be preferred, along with a good geographical knowledge of the borough of Rushcliffe.

Our working hours are Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.00pm

Applicants must have a full driving licence (including the ability to drive vehicles including and up to 7.5t) and be able to provide exceptional customer service, as well as being able to work effectively as part of a small team or on their own.  Applicants should be able to assist in the delivery of bins as and when required. A van will be provided, and applicants should be experienced in carrying out pre and post driving checks.
