Rushcliffe Borough Council provides high quality services to more than 110,000 residents in a borough made up of vibrant towns and stunning villages. Our Council offices are located in West Bridgford, Nottingham in a purpose-built office and leisure centre facility, Rushcliffe Arena.
The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Economic Growth Manager to lead the delivery of our ambitious Economic Growth Strategy. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to shape the future of our region through a diverse portfolio of strategic projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of two town centre masterplans, revitalising key urban areas.
- Drive forward an exciting tourism agenda, with a strong sporting focus linked to Nottingham Forest and Trent Bridge.
- Collaborate closely with the East Midlands Combined County Authority on the Inclusive Growth Framework, ensuring equitable economic development.
- Play a central role in delivering a nationally significant Freeport project at the former Ratcliffe on Soar Power Station, focused on green energy and employment growth.
- Contribute to shaping the future of Local Government services, supporting improved outcomes for residents and businesses as authorities join forces.
About You:
We’re looking for a strategic and analytical thinker with strong experience of developing and delivering growth projects. You will have proven success driving performance improvement through innovation and collaboration. As a confident communicator, you will have experience engaging with stakeholders such as local authorities, businesses, community groups and government agencies. A credible leader keen to identify development opportunities, with the drive to lead on the delivery of our economic growth strategy.
