Response

The costs below are those that either plan to be, or have been, incurred on behalf of all 9 Councils participating in the LGR process across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.  These costs have been funded by grant from Central Government and will therefore not be a cost to the Council taxpayer:

Consultancy £275,000
Engagement and  communication £22,850
Legal advice £4,000

Please note staff time is not recorded and so Rushcliffe Borough Council is not able to provide that information.

In addition Rushcliffe Borough Council has incurred £73,000 to support the proposal, and is planning to spend £55,000 on developing the proposal further.
