Football pitch benchmarking questions: 

  1. What are your current hire fees for different types of pitches (e.g., 5-a-side, 7-a-side, 9-a-side, 11-a-side)?
  2. Are there different rates for senior/adult vs. junior teams
  3. Do you charge for training sessions? If so, how much? 
  4. Are there different rates for casual/one-off bookings vs. seasonal or block bookings?
  5. Do the prices include the use of changing facilities (pavilions) and showers?
  6. Are there additional charges for things like equipment hire, or special events?
  7. What is the policy regarding cancellations or changes to bookings?
  8. How are payments typically handled (e.g., upfront, instalments, online systems)?
  9. Are there concessions available for certain groups (e.g., community groups, charities)?
  10. Are there specific terms and conditions related to pitch hire, including insurance requirements? 
  11. Do all clubs have agreements in place? If so, would you be willing to share or send a template of an agreement.

  1. What are your current hire fees for different types of pitches (e.g., 5-a-side, 7-a-side, 9-a-side, 11-a-side)?
    • Matches (Grass OR ATP Pitches):

      • 11v11  (Adults) £80

      • 11v11  (JUNIORS) £49

      • 9v9  (JUNIORS) £43

      • 7v7/ 5v5 (JUNIORS) £38

    • Training (ATP only):

      • Full pitch £103 per hour

      • Half pitch £56 per hour

      • Third pitch £44 per hour

      • Quarter pitch £33 per hour

  1. Are there different rates for senior/adult vs. junior teams

  2. Do you charge for training sessions? If so, how much? 
    • See answer to question 1
  3. Are there different rates for casual/one-off bookings vs. seasonal or block bookings?
    • no difference in price. block booking customers can be offered a subscription account which sets up a weekly recurring payment, rather than requiring all fees upfront. the subscription has to be linked to a credit/ debit card.

  4. Do the prices include the use of changing facilities (pavilions) and showers?
    • Yes, price inclusive
  5. Are there additional charges for things like equipment hire, or special events?
    • we do not upsell equipment. events & tournaments rates depend up usage & duration

  6. What is the policy regarding cancellations or changes to bookings?
    • 72 hours cancellation for matches & training, to give us time to resell the vacated slot to another customer. 14 days notice for events & tournaments.

  7. How are payments typically handled (e.g., upfront, instalments, online systems)?
    • Payment in advance by online booking system

  8. Are there concessions available for certain groups (e.g., community groups, charities)?
    • Designated partners receive 20% off the published rate.

  9. Are there specific terms and conditions related to pitch hire, including insurance requirements? 
  10. Do all clubs have agreements in place? If so, would you be willing to share or send a template of an agreement. 
    • No, acceptance of the conditions of hire document is considered the agreement
