Contract Award Details

  • The name of the successful contractor(s), along with the total contract value and duration detailing if these are fixed service costs or reactive and project works / combined.
  • The contract commencement date, duration and potential extensions, if included.
  • A summary of the services included in the contract.
  • A record of any significant changes or variations to the scope of works, contract value, or timeframe since contract award.

Documentation

  • Copies of the tender return documents for the current service provider that are not exempt from FOI requests.

This information is already reasonably accessible to the public (see section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000).

This site sets out:

  • The platforms used to advertise procurement opportunities;
  • The expected date for publishing the pipeline for upcoming contracts in the next 18 months (currently 31 May 2025);
  • access to the Contracts Register which contains current contractors, contract values and commencement and termination dates for existing contracts.  Rushcliffe Borough Council is part of the Nottinghamshire County Council Procurement  - see link   information is available through the contracts register 

Contract Award Details

The information sought, such as successful contractors and total contract value, are published on the Contract Register.

Documentation

The tender return documents contain personal information and are submitted with the expectation of confidentiality, particularly as regards the commercial interests of the tenderer.  The tenders can be disclosed under a Freedom of Information request but with this relevant information redacted in line with section 41 and section 43 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.  This is in order to preserve the confidence of commercial suppliers and tenderers in the Council’s procurement process.  Once this information is redacted, the remaining information may be limited to the name of the successful company and the contract sum.  As these details can be obtained from the Contracts Register, please confirm whether you wish for redacted copies of the relevant successful tenders to be disclosed to you.
