There are many sites around Rushcliffe where you can see wildlife and enjoy the countryside. Please remember to follow the Countryside Code.


The Countryside Code

  • Be safe - plan ahead and follow any signs
  • Leave gates and property as you find themA nature reserve protected by the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust.
  • Protect plants and animals, and take your litter home
  • Keep dogs under close control
  • Consider other people.

Access to the Countryside

Some areas have been opened to the public through government grants to landowners. The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) provides information on ‌.
