Public Notice of appointment of auditor from 2018 to 2019

Under Section 8(2) of the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014, the Council must publish a notice relating to the appointment of its auditor.

Public Sector Audit Appointments Limited (PSAA), as appointing person, has appointed Mazars LLP as Rushcliffe Borough Council’s external auditor.

The appointment has been made for the duration of the five-year appointing period, covering the audits of the accounts for 2018 to 2019 to 2022 to 2023.

The appointment has been made under regulation 13 of the Local Audit (Appointing Person) Regulations 2015.

The Annual report figures: 2009/10 is a condensed version of the Statement of Accounts which shows the cost of council services and what the council owns and how it is financed.

Capital spending for the year on items which are of use to the council for more than one year is categorised by type of expenditure and how it is financed. Revenue expenditure represents what the council spent on providing services and income the council generated to finance those services with government support.
