Council Consults on New Housing Sites

12 October 2017

This week sees the start of an eight-week consultation on the second part of Rushcliffe’s Local Plan. Whereas Local Plan Part 1 identified where all the big new housing developments would be, Local Plan Part 2 identifies possible sites for 2,500 new homes within existing towns and villages in the Borough, as well as policies on the green belt, employment, retail, open spaces, and nature conservation.

Sites for these 2,500 homes have been identified in:

  • Bunny
  • Cotgrave
  • Cropwell Bishop
  • East Bridgford
  • Gotham
  • Keyworth
  • Radcliffe on Trent
  • Ruddington
  • West Bridgford

Full information can be found on the Local Plan pages.

Local people have the opportunity to look at the plans in more detail and make their views heard before the consultation closes at 5pm on Monday 27 November 2017:
