Garage services and MOTs
Rushcliffe Borough Council garage staff can carry out an MOT on your vehicle. If you want the reassurance that your car’s been tested by very experienced, totally independent vehicle testers, then book an MOT with us. We don't carry out repairs so there’s no pressure, just a reliable assessment of your vehicle's roadworthiness.
Where: The MOTs are carried out at our Depot on Abbey Road in West Bridgford.
Cost: It’s just £54 and this includes a free retest if necessary.
To book an MOT: Call us on 0115 9148 409. Please note that bookings can be made between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday but our last appointment for actual testing is 1.30pm.
We’ll meet and greet you on arrival and you can sit back and enjoy a coffee in our new refurbished, comfortable waiting room whilst our mechanics get to work.
Vehicle types: We are able to test the following vehicle types: Class 4 Private Car, Class 5 Light Bus up to 16 seats, Class 7 Light commercial vans and trucks. We also test motor caravans up to a wheel base length of 4 metres.
