Animal disposal

The Council’s Streetwise team will collect and dispose of dead animals (including foxes, dogs, cats, birds and wild animals) from all public accessible areas. We do not remove dead animals from private residences, unless they have been a road kill.

To tell us about a dead animal in a public place or to make an arrangement for a dead animal to be collected from your home, you can report a dead animal for removal online or call us on 0115 981 9911.
