Local Development Framework
The Local Development Framework (LDF) is a 'portfolio' of documents which will deliver the planning strategy for Rushcliffe. Documents either under preparation or completed include:
Including the latest information and consultations that have been held.
Guidance on how policies in the development plan documents will be implemented.
Information about how the Council consults with communities.
The Local Development Scheme sets out which documents will be produced, the subject matter of each document and the timetable for the preparation and revision of each document.
Assessing the implementation of the Local Development Scheme.
Supporting studies that will be used to develop the policies, proposals and strategy of the Local Development Framework.
Informal planning guidance and policy statements, which do not form part of the LDF, will also be produced. When completed, the LDF will replace the non-statutory replacement local plan and the six saved policies of the 1996 Local Plan, presently being used to determine planning applications.
