The Big Lottery Fund is urging more groups in Rushcliffe to apply for Awards for All funding. Awards For All offers grants of between £300 and £10,000 for projects that improve communities and the lives of people within them.

Sixty-five adults with disabilities took part in a summer sports day on Thursday 19 August at Gresham Sports Park. The event was a fantastic success comprising a fun introduction session to a variety of different sports.

If you’ve got one or two large items to get rid of such as a fridge freezer, wardrobe or three piece suite, try out our special collections for a small charge.

A free event to give you ideas on how you can ‘eco-refurbish’ your home will take place on Tuesday 14 September 2010, 7.30 till 9.30pm.

Rushcliffe's Mayor went along to the Move and Mingle class at Tutin Court East Leake on Thursday and enjoyed 45 minutes of chair-based exercise, followed by a cup of tea and chat.
