Excellent news!

Rushcliffe Borough Council is proud to announce the result of our recent Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA) by the government watchdog The Audit Commission - we're excellent!

The last performance assessment in 2003 graded the Borough Council as 'good' but we weren't happy to rest on our laurels so we pushed for a re-grade.

Throughout March 2008, the CPA inspectors visited the borough and looked at a variety of aspects of our work with residents, partners and staff.

The overall assessment has come back and we're delighted and proud to announce we have been re-graded as excellent - the top score possible. We now join a small but distinct group of around seven borough councils nationwide who are excellent.
