Please remember that Rushcliffe Country Park is part of the wider countryside. Dog walkers are welcome, but please remember to keep dogs under close control at all times. Rushcliffe Country Park operates a 'dogs on leads' zone; this area extends around the lake, the children’s play area, car park and connecting footpaths.

Poop scoop regulations are in operation throughout the Park. Please clean up after your dog. Free poop scoop bags are available from the Rangers office.

Please follow the Country Code:

  • Take litter home with you.
  • Do not pick wildflowers or disturb wildlife.
  • Leave gates as you find them.
