It will cost you about 50p a week (£25 a year) – much cheaper and less hassle than taking your green waste to the Household Waste Recycling Centre.
Some local authorities in Nottinghamshire already charge for all green waste. Rushcliffe Borough Council is committed to keeping council tax as low as possible and overall costs to a minimum, while giving people services they have asked for - this is just one way of providing the service.
