Community led planning
Information about community led planning, including links to parish plans produced by parish councils in Rushcliffe.
Rushcliffe Borough Council supports parishes in the development and implementation of their plans.Rural Community Action Nottinghamshire takes the lead on delivering parish planning activities in the county.
A parish plan is a holistic vision and programme of action based on consultation, research and survey followed by community action planning.
Developed in consultation between parishioners and support agencies, the plans look to the next 5-15 years. In Rushcliffe the following communities have published parish plans:

- East Bridgford

- Normanton on Soar
- Hickling
- Tollerton
- Langar cum Barnstone
- Cropwell Bishop
- Granby cum Sutton
- Shelford and Newton

- Upper Saxondale
A community led plan is in development in:
- Willoughby on the Wolds
- Kingston on Soar Parish plan
- Shelton
