Statement of accounts

Rushcliffe Borough Council's statement of accounts for the year ending 31 March 2011.

The Statement of accounts for year end 31 March 2011 summarises the financial activities of the borough council and comments upon the most significant matters reported in the accounts.

The Annual report figures: 2009/10 is a condensed version of the Statement of Accounts which shows the cost of council services and what the council owns and how it is financed.

Capital spending for the year on items which are of use to the council for more than one year is categorised by type of expenditure and how it is financed. Revenue expenditure represents what the council spent on providing services and income the council generated to finance those services with government support.
